Welcome to Ananda Yoga Therapy

Yoga therapy is a holistic approach to healing that integrates movement, breathwork, and mindfulness to address physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Unlike traditional yoga, which often focuses on fitness or relaxation, yoga therapy is a targeted practice designed to support specific health concerns, including chronic pain, stress, and neurological conditions. It is guided by a certified yoga therapist, Kaitlin, who tailors your sessions to the individual’s needs, ensuring a safe and effective experience that fosters long-term healing.


At Ananda Yoga Therapy, we believe yoga therapy can transform lives. Our approach goes beyond conventional yoga classes, offering a therapeutic experience that rewires the brain’s response to pain and discomfort. By combining ancient wisdom with modern neuroscience, we provide an evidence-based and deeply personal pathway to healing.

Yogic Practices

Our yoga practices incorporate a variety of techniques designed to enhance your overall healing and mind/body connection:


  • Asanas (Postures): used therapeutically to improve strength, flexibility, and balance while addressing specific health concerns. All posture work is catered to the individual.
  • Pranayama (Breathing Techniques): Regulating the breath can help calm the nervous system, enhance respiratory function, reduce stress/anxiety and work with the more subtle energies of the body to help with healing and symptom management.
  • Meditation: Promotes mental clarity, emotional balance, neuroplasticity and adaptation, stress reduction, and supports overall healing and resilience.

Yoga Therapy

Kaitlin develops tailored yoga therapy sessions to address a wide range of physical, mental, and emotional challenges, including chronic pain, chronic stress, PTSD/anxiety, depression, cancer, autoimmune diseases, joint replacements, mobility issues, chronic pain, and more. The scientific community has increasingly recognized yoga therapy as a valuable resource for supporting patient care. With a growing body of research, more studies are emerging each year, providing robust evidence of its efficacy in healing and symptom management.

Meet Kaitlin

Kaitlin's journey into yoga began at the age of 15 as a way to cope with personal challenges and  debilitating anxiety. Guided initially by renowned instructors Rodney Yee and Seane Corn through VHS and DVD, she found solace in the movements and mindfulness of yoga as she learned how to manage her symptoms. This early practice became a crucial part of her healing process, leading her to complete her 200-hour teacher training at 18 and immersing herself in the philosophy and teachings of yoga. She has since completed over 1000+ hours of additional certification in yoga, Ayurveda, meditation, Pilates reformer, personal training, kettlebell, and functional movement.


Kaitlin is expanding her therapeutic skills to offer more personalized and healing practices, including specific training in trauma-informed yoga, pain management, and completing her 500-hour RYT. She aims to continue evolving her practice while helping her students face stress and setbacks with resilience and grace. Now focusing her efforts in the therapeutic space as an IAYT trained yoga therapist, Kaitlin is available to help guide individuals on their journey toward healing.
